Southern Italian Supper Club - 8/9

Approaching spring in Southern Italy in style. Regions like Capri, Sorrento & Sicily are highlighted using less traditional Italian ingredients like cheese or pastry. The hotter regions of these southern regions call for more of a light, whole ingredient approach to each recipe, using fresh herbs and citrus to help make each dish unique. We’re approaching springtime with this simple spring salad finished with chunks of creamy burrata, fresh dill and sliced spring peas. The delicious Mixed Mushroom Risotto is a fun pasta shape developed for celebrations and it’s meant to resemble grains of wheat in shape. Springtime calls for deliciously pump Grilled Asparagus & Crispy Prosciutto over Pecorino whipped ricotta served over a cheesy Pecorino ricotta that will knock your socks off.  Puttanesca Poached White Fish will brighten up your palette with a refreshingly sweet cherry tomato sauce combined with briney green Castelvetrano olives and spice from the Calabrian chili. We head into chocolate territory with Traditional Chocolate Torta Caprese, a cake made using almonds or hazelnuts, that brings a new meaning to chocolate cakes everywhere. A supper to remember.

This class is scheduled in PST & has a duration of approximately 3 hours.

Payments for classes at Table for 12 are non-refundable. If you find yourself unable to attend, you may transfer the ticket to someone else.
