What is Table for 12?

During the day, we operate as a kitchen studio for our online brand 12 Tomatoes, but in the evenings we transform into a three hour interactive hands on culinary experience where we're going to prep, chop, cook and eat a delicious meal together.

Do I need a group of 12 to sign up?

Not at all! It could be just you, you and a few friends, or book the entire class. All of our public classes have up to 12 seats available to book.

If a class you're looking to attend is Sold Out or doesn't have enough seats for your group, feel free to contact us and inquire about availability. We can often expand our classes by a few seats upon special request!

What’s included in the price of the class?

Included in the price of your seat is the food (typically a 4-course meal), an appetizer, and a complementary Agua Fresca made fresh for each class by our wonderful chefs!

You will also receive take-home recipes from all the courses of your menu.

How long is a class?

A typical class and dining experience lasts about 3 hours.

This will include time to mingle and get a drink upon arrival, greetings and and an overview from the chef, menu instruction, preparation & cooking, plating, and of course the family-style dining experience.

Guests will have plenty of time to ask questions and interact with our chef and additional mingling time after the meal while our staff cleans up.

Do you offer private events and parties?

Yes we do!

Table for 12 would love to host your next event. In order for us to better understand what your looking to host in our space, we encourage you to contact us directly via email or phone to discuss your needs. We will offers suggestions and ultimately craft a proposal for you.

A typical event might be for a group of 10-15 to join us for a private cooking & dining experience featuring one of our curated menus on an evening of availability. Wine menus can be customized as we work closely with Arista Wine Cellars to provide anything from their available inventory.

We can host events for larger groups (up to 30). Larger events like this will require additional customizations beyond our normal class offerings.

What if I don’t drink alcohol?

We offer a range of non-alcoholic beverages: sparkling water, agua fresca, coffee, tea & water.

How can I book a class?

Online @ or in person at our downtown Edmonds location.

On our website, please visit the 'Calendar' page to see the list of classes for upcoming days/weeks/months. You can learn more about those classes and purchase your seats directly from the class page.

You can also feel free to stop in during our business hours (Mon-Fri, 12-5pm) or call us on the phone during business hours and we'll be happy to help you get booked!

Can I bring my dog or small child?

We can not allow dogs into our space during classes.

As for infants and toddlers, we discourage guests from bringing the young ones as this is a class environment and students require attention, and will often be using kitchen utensils and appliances that require focus.
