Southern Coastal Cuisine - 07/27/25

In this class we will be exploring the cuisine of the southern coastal cities such as Charleston, SC.  Kicking things off we have a cool and refreshing Watermelon & Tomato Salad.  With plenty of fresh herbs and a tangy dressing, this salad will help you beat the summer heat!  Next up a true Charleston original: Shrimp & Grits - tender fresh shrimp sautéed with bacon, scallions, tomato, and a touch of spice served over creamy stone ground heritage corn grits.  For the main course we will be preparing Grilled Pork Chops with Peach Mostarda.  The fruity and zesty mostarda provides an elegant counterpoint to the rich and savory grilled pork.  No southern coastal meal would be complete without Hushpuppies.  These cornmeal-based fritters are perfect for mopping up any sauce that might drip off that pork chop!  Finishing out the evening, we will prepare a Banana Pudding that any southern grandmother would be proud to serve.

This class is scheduled in PST & has a duration of approximately 3 hours.

Cancelation Policy:
Payments for classes at Table for 12 are non-refundable. If you find yourself unable to attend, you may transfer the ticket to someone else.
