@Vindiskitchen - A Sri Lankan Supper

Join us for an exciting evening featuring local Guest Chef Vindi Rathnayake as she hosts a masterclass of Sri Lankan staples!  Known for her authentic Sri Lankan style and prominent online presence, Chef Vindi was born in Sri Lanka where she originally pursued a career as a software engineer.  After relocating to Melbourne, Australia, she traded in her keyboard for an apron and became a certified baker and pastry chef.  Since then, her work has took her through several prominent artisanal bakeries and patisseries throughout Melbourne before she relocated to Seattle where she works as a part-time culinary instructor and highly-active food blogger (@Vindiskitchen).  On the menu:

Crispy deep-fried fish croquettes filled with spiced tuna and potato mixture, served warm with a refreshing mint and coconut chutney and ketchup

Hand-chopped paratha roti stir fried with vegetables, eggs, chicken and finished with a splash of spicy chicken curry sauce

Bone-in chicken, slow cooked with roasted Sri Lankan curry powder, coconut milk, red chili powder and aromatic spices

Charred pineapple and crisp cucumber tossed with shallots, green chili, and fresh
coriander in a lime and coconut milk dressing

Watalappam: A silky coconut custard sweetened with jaggery and perfumed with cardamom, served with toasted cashews

This class is scheduled in PST & has a duration of approximately 3 hours.

Cancelation Policy:
Payments for classes at Table for 12 are non-refundable. If you find yourself unable to attend, you may transfer the ticket to someone else. Additionally, we reserve the right to cancel and reschedule all reservations within 48 hours of the scheduled class time due to low registration and/or extenuating circumstances. In such cases, we will offer to reschedule your reservation free of charge or provide a full refund.
